Mélinda – Laura Ramsey's bellydance coach
When I met Melinda, I thought that we would not get along. I was wrong. She seamed mannered but it was just her way of talking, and talkative but she just had things to say. Essential things. We met for an hour. I was well aware of the decisive role of the coach on this movie for the actress. Laura Ramsey, an American actress, had absolutely no dance training and we had 4 months before the shoot began to make her a credible bellydancer. Melinda has managed to give Laura everything she needed to embody the character of Lola. She taught her technique, grace, movements, rhythms. She transmitted her, her gentleness and her vision of the dance.
